Welcome to the twins section. I would eventually like to have more Rowen look alikes here, but there has only ever been one since I saw Ronin Warriors. This section contains minor (major?) spoilers for Wild Arms 2nd Ignition.
In fact, visually, Ashley has always reminded me of Rowen. But it was one particular scene in Wild Arms 2nd Ignition that has always made me think that Ashley has the best Rowen impression in existence. They both have blueish (teal) hair (depending on the lightning). The real difference is the way it sticks out or up without Rowen's headband!
Even the story in question has similarities! Both end up separated from their friends, floating through space. No one knows quite where they are at first but everyone is desperate to believe they are alive and that they can be saved. Both survive their space journeys through the power of magic armor. In Ashley's case, it's actually Lord Blazer but he is known as the black knight in reference to the black armor that gives him power. Rowen's armor is actually revitalized through this journey and becomes more powerful.
I would also say that for the majority of the time, both men had the goal of saving and protecting what is important to them. Although, I feel like Rowen has less of a hero complex than Ashley does. I tend to feel like Rowen is also more confident than Ashley is. And actually, Ashley is several years older than Rowen is. Mostly, I just know that every time I play Wild Arms 2nd Ignition and get to this part, the first words out of my mouth are, "And Ashley doing his best Rowen impression."
