Ludger's actions are made through two choices. These options have a significant affect on the way party members interact with Ludger and how they respond to him. One of my favorite aspects of this dynamic is that certain party members like different options and thus both choices are technically correct. Ludger's choices affect the outcome of his life, his friends, and ultimately the world. Despite this, Ludger tries to remain upbeat and often makes decisions with others in mind before he considers himself. He helps his companions through difficult decisions becoming a pillar of support for all. His choices ultimately shape the world, the people in it, and how it will proceed.

Perhaps my greatest love of this system is actually Ludger's ability to make a choice and live with it. He accepts full responsibility for his choices and his actions. He knows that his choices may hurt someone, but he believes in following through with them. He understands that he must make choices, and that he has people that rely on him. He has a tendency to be independent and he does not always agree with the choices he has to make. In the same vein he realizes that he is responsible for those decisions. He knows that he made them, and whether or not he had a choice is irrelevant. He made the choice and he lives with the possible repercussions.

I feel like the power of choice dynamic makes Ludger seem much more mature than he might be otherwise. He's only twenty, but he takes others into account far more than himself, accepts responsibility for his actions and choices, and he acts as a pillar of support for characters older than himself. His youth can get him into trouble, but his heart is always what people see first.
