Let's see if I can state the reasons I like Xanxus in a coherent and meaningful way. I can't promis that it'll make any amount of sense. I realize that every girl has one bad boy that they can't help but love. Xanxus is mine; since a few of the other "villain types" I like are borderline on the protagonists that they can go either way. Xanxus, I think, enjoys his antagonizing role. Honestly, I quite enjoy his confidence and his no nonsense personality.
I have an unnatural attachment to gunners. Second, I find confidence extremely attractive. Xanxus has both, and so I can't help it. He believes in what he is doing is right. He does exactly what he feels is necessary. He is decisive and persistent. He has the strength to back up his ideals. There are other reasons, I find him very easy on the eyes. It really doesn't help my case at all that he has black hair and red eyes (a particular favorite thanks to this guy). With that being said I know Xanxus is a very cruel and mean person. I dislike the way he treats his men, and I think that his anger is very much unhealthy for him. Anger, in general, is destructive. I feel that one day he can grow out of it. And I feel like that's a really big dose of optimism on my part. In fact, I find his 34-year-old self most charming. He's calmed down some, but he still has his temper. In addition, he reminds me of a cat. Cats are fluffy badasses. His hair looks really soft too. I want to touch it. Of course, there are other reasons. Reasons that, (ahem) I'm not sure I absolutely need to elaborate on. I mean, does fan service really need elaboration? Initially, it was just kinda nice seeing an adult male that offered fan service. I actually grew to adore him, despite his flaws. I guess it's just one of those things that "chick dig scars, and glory lasts forever."
