Rowen is considered the most clever (and therefore dangerous) Ronin. Truthfully, he is very calm and to the point. He is an only child, his parents divorced when he was twelve, but he doesn't seem to have any ill will or feelings about it. In fact, he is very content to be studying. Both of his parents worked often and were rarely home, so perhaps this is one reason the divorce didn't seem to matter one way or another to him. He hasn't had friends before the other Ronin, so, although he tends to be mature by age standards, he doesn't actually know how to deal with people his own age.

He often prioritizes things in a way that annoy and frustrate his friends. Rowen is articulate and can be unbending when something is going wrong. He is very careful and likes to formulate a plan before rushing into battle. He often suggests waiting and watching. He and Ryo argue over rescuing the guys and Rowen is ultimately able to talk Ryo into being more cautious. When Cye and Rowen argue about whether or not to go after Ryo and Sage, Cye punches him. Cye is tired of the fighting and Rowen tells him that they can worry about that after they save Ryo and Sage. Cye bursts, most likely because he feels like Rowen is being too much to the point and not considering his feelings. Although shocked, Rowen lets it go as he understands that his friend is stressed. Rowen often seems to behave as though he's much older than the others, this is probably a combination of spending most of his time reading and being (for the majority) on his own. Despite his maturity, he will do anything and everything within his power for his friends. He will not stop until everyone is safe, something he just about breaks himself for on several occasions.

You were going to introduce us to your friend weren't you?Rowen is the second warrior to show up, granted he makes his appearance with the other four, he's the one that talks first. He saves Ryo from a bucket head and leads the introduction to the other three warriors. Rowen strikes me as flashy and to the point, self-assured in that what he is doing is awesome (and right). I'm Rowen of the Armor StrataIn fact, Rowen is often the first to attack, use his special, or show up to save someone. He resorts to his special attack, Arrow Shockwave on several occasions to save people. I found it most interesting that when Talpa took the Ronin the first attack he used was Rowen's. I believe that this shakes Ryo up quite a bit because Rowen was the first to step in and help him. He is considered the most clever and dangerous by Talpa's warlords. Rowen is rumored to have the highest IQ of the five Ronin but his lines often make him seem as though he is merely pointing out the obvious. In fact, Rowen is usually calm and composed. He seems to know exactly what he wants in his battles and believes that they need to be quick and efficient in dealing with their foes.

The man with the golden bowThe dynasty goes through great lengths to prevent Rowen's resurrection, because he is the last Ronin to be found. Rowen wears the armor of Strata (Tenku) and has the virtue of Knowledge/Life force. His element is wind. Rowen draws his power from the wind and heavens and thus spends time in space awaiting someone's arrival to get him back home until he can awaken. Unlike the other Ronin, he fights with a long range weapon. Although he fights with a bow and tries to stay out of the thick of battle he is quite capable in close range combat as well. Rowen is the first person to suggest bringing the power of all of their armors together and even Talpa views him as a threat when he is the last Ronin and this the only thing that stands in his way of destroying the ronin. More arrows than the number of stars in the sky Ryo ultimately ends up saving Rowen. Rowen uses his arrows to bring Ryo back to him and gets them back to earth. When they are attacked by Anubis, Rowen uses his arrow shockwave at close range to stop Anubis from killing Ryo. I feel this is part of what awakens Anubis to his armor's true power. Rowen is the first to realize that the warlords are human (rather than demons) and he also starts to contemplate the idea that the warlords armor is the same as their own. Despite these reservations (that shake other warriors) Rowen realizes that to move forward they have to go through the warlords, human or not. He defines the roles of Dynasty versus Ronin in very distinct terms. The dynasty is evil and must be stopped. This makes him stubborn. Along with the others (Sage, Cye, and Kento) he is willing to give up his life to give power to Ryo to stop the Dynasty once and for all.

Rowen is to the point and believes in what he and the others are doing is right. He tends to be a little more quiet when expressing opinions. He is also cautious and careful in way of predicting what might be going on. He believes in waiting and seeing what happens, but is always ready to move.
