Tim Rhymeless
You cannot have a site about Pooka without explaining Tim. Tim Rhymeless is a twelve year old orphan boy. He lives in the Town of Meria with his friends Tony Stark and Scott Summers. The three boys create a "young ARMs" and enjoy shadowing Ashley when he is home on leave. Tim gives Ashley the Medium Orodyuk as thanks for saving them, he states it used to be his mother's and that it always brought him good luck. Despite the fact that Ashley says its too precious to give away, Tim says he would feel best if Ashley took it. Tim is a kind boy that likes to help. He is unaware of his mother's past and that he is the best canidate for the Guardian's Pillar.
When Ashley meets Tim again, he is to escort the boy back to Baskar where he might be safe from Odessa. Instead, they find out that the Pillar trials are about to start. With Tim's arrival the village is overjoyed, but no one knows why. Tim accepts his role as Heir to the Pillar and decides to take the trial.
Tim chooses to take the Pillar test in place of the second canidate Collette. Although Collette has been training, here is a possibility (a much higher possibillity for her) to fail. Not wanting to risk Collette's life for his mother's indiscretions, Tim accepts his role and heads to the Hidden Trial Arena. Ashley, Lilka, and Brad accept the roles of Tim's knights and become determined to help him achieve his goal. This will ultimately help to save Filgaia.
Upon arrival Tim and his bodyguards meet Pooka who says he will act as their guide throughout the trial. Pooka blesses them with the ability "Combine" that allows him to read the Guardian Medium Matrixes and combine with them to give the mediums physical form. This allows Tim and the others to summon the Guardians and draws out their hidden abilities. Later, they are informed that the trial is just as much for the Tim as it is Ashley, Brad, and Lilka. All four must survive until the end to help Tim in his goal of becoming the chosen Pillar. Pooka guides the four through the trials explaining that the Role of the Pillar is to follow the Will of the Guardians to save Filgaia. By becoming strong, connecting hearts, and following the Guardian's Will, the pillar helps the Guardians to restore Filgaia. When Tim finishes the trial and defeates the boss he is blessed with title of Pillar.
Upon returning back to the village, Tim finds out that his role as pillar means he is required to die to save Filgaia. Scared out of his mind he goes into hiding, much to the dismay of Ashley and his friends. Ashley believes it's stupid to sacrifice one for the sake of many. Tim, at only twelve, doesn't want to die. He accepts that he is pillar but wants to do more than "die". For the time being, the elders of Baskar allow Tim to have his way as a means of keeping him a Pillar instead of forcing him away. This is the foundation of what begins to change Pooka into more than just a sub-spirit.
Pooka and Combo
Through Pooka, Tim can summon guardians and learn their abilities. In general, each guardian has two spells that Tim can learn. Tim must defeat a certain amount of enemies with the guardian equipped to learn the Guardian Lore abitlies. Usually the lore is a single element attack and then a group element attack. Once Tim defeats a required number of monsters (usually 10 for single, and 50 for group; 7 and 47 respectivly if Tim has learned FP-Cut), he can use the Guardian Lore any time. My suggestion is to equip Orodyuk first and have him learn the Guardian's healing abilities as this allows for group healing. Each guardian also has a special skill that allows the party an additional ability such as steal, protect, and scan. The abilities can be used as long as someone has a medium equipped. Each of the guardians listed below can be used via Combo on Tim, Ashley, Lilka, and Brad so long as Pooka is in the party. This means that the party can summon as long as Tim is participating in battle, even if he's knocked out.
